JAYMEE VALADEZ LPC Associate Supervised by Brook Bonnema LPCS
IAre you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or struggling to manage daily life with ADHD, anxiety, or unresolved trauma? Therapy can be a supportive space to slow down, feel understood, and learn practical tools to help you regain balance.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation challenges. I also support parents of children with ADHD who may feel exhausted, unsure, or overwhelmed while trying to help their child succeed. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you build skills while honoring your lived experience.
I offer EMDR, ADHD coaching, and traditional talk therapy to address both current stressors and underlying emotional patterns. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment for trauma and distressing life experiences, helping clients process memories in a safe and structured way. (To learn more about EMDR, please visit the resources page.)
I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University and am a member of the American Counseling Association. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Brooke Bonnema, LPC-S.
My specialties include ADHD, parents of children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I use an integrative approach that incorporates attachment-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and somatic techniques. ADHD treatment is approached through an attachment lens with an emphasis on emotional regulation, skills development, and self-compassion.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are and support you with both understanding and practical guidance, I invite you to reach out to see if we’re a good fit.
